According to Mehr News reporter, “Kupal,” directed by Kazem Moalei, will be screened in the competition section of the 4th Iranian Film Festival Zurich. Iranian Film Festival Zurich is organized to present and introduce Iranian culture and traditions, and creating a bridge between different cultures using the language of art, and especially cinema, to fill in the gap between Iranians and the people of Swiss and also many other foreign residents in this country. Each year, this film festival gathers and screens some of the best titles of contemporary Iran Cinema.
The 4th edition is especially dedicated to the stories related to family and love in Iran and all over the world. “Kupal” is to be screened on May 24 and 27 in the competition section of this event.
There are 11 other titles in this section of the festival, including “Israfil” by Aida Panahandeh, “Hot Summer” by Ebrahim Irajzad, “Asphyxia” by Fereydoun Jeyrani, “Waiting for Kiarostami” by Hossein Khandan, “Mr. Ali” by Kamran Heidari, “When I Turned into a Butterfly” by Arash Zare, “Sleep Bridge” by Oktay Barahani, “Nameless” by Alireza Samadi, “Paris Tehran” by Kaveh Oveysi, “Dogs and Men” by Ali Mohammad Ghasemi, and “Majan” by Rahman Seyfizadeh.
This event takes place in Zurich, Swiss on May 24 to 30.
